You're surrounded by people.
So why does finding real connection feel so hard?
Breaking Bread®
Saturday, July 18 · 10am–6pm ET · Virtual. LIVE.
A one-day, guided, sourdough-fueled connection reset for people who spend all day communicating…but rarely feel truly connected.
👉 Join the July 18 Breaking Bread ExperienceWe're more "connected" than ever -
but connecting less.
THE REAL PROBLEM:
Stress and distraction don't just wear you out...
They quietly wear out your relationships too.
When people go too long without meaningful connection, something subtle happens:
They become more guarded.
More performative.
More remote.
Conversations become:
Narrow instead of nourishing
Reactive instead of responsive
Transactional instead of thoughtful
The kind of conversation that leaves everyone feeling more alone than before.
Over time, that trains the depth (and drains the spirit) out of connections in every area of life — especially relationships (even the strongest ones).
✸
Most relationships don’t end dramatically. They fade away.
The beautiful thing?
That's fixable.
The connection you're craving is a skill you already have.
At Breaking Bread you develop that skill in one delicious day - with dough on your hands and a smile on your face.

Meet Nancy
You're in good Hands.
Nancy Hand is a south Louisiana foodie, daughter of a PhD food scientist, and a sourdough baker who's been teaching the craft for over a decade. The bread is real. So is everything else she brings to the table.
She creates spaces where people reconnect — with themselves and each other. Best friends have met at her events. Couples have met at her gatherings. Coaching clients who once couldn't speak up in a room are now leading the conversation.
Decades of expertise as an attorney and mediator, communication specialist, NLP trainer, coach, and certified Xchange facilitator will do that.
You'll leave more confident. That's not a promise. It's just what happens.
"Really enjoyed making sourdough, and doing it in a group made it even better. Thought-provoking, genuinely fun, and absolutely time well spent."
Dawn Harkins, wealth manager
FAQs
Do I have to share personal things?
Nope! You choose what you share and what you keep private. The prompts invite depth — they never demand it. Many people say they shared more than expected simply because it felt safe, not because they were pushed.
What if I'm introverted?
Introverts have loved this! The structure does the heavy lifting — you're never thrown into open-ended group chatter. Conversations are guided, purposeful, and paced. Many introverts say it's the first group experience they've actually enjoyed.
Is this therapy?
Nope! This is an experiential facilitated event. Nothing is analyzed or treated. If anything it's the opposite of a clinical environment — warm, relaxed, and grounded in everyday human connection.
What happens during the day?
You'll bake sourdough from scratch while moving through a series of guided paired conversations, small group exchanges, and reflective prompts. Nancy facilitates the whole day. It flows — it doesn't feel like a schedule.
What kind of people have attended in the past?
Coaches, chefs, therapists, small business owners, entrepreneurs, attorneys, healthcare professionals — thoughtful adults who are very capable in their professional lives and genuinely want more from their personal ones.
Can I bring someone?
Yes! Each kitchen can have up to two people. Couples, business partners, and good friends all attend. You'll do some activities together and some with the wider group.
