We'll meet in "Kitchen Studio" a night or two before the event to be sure your sourdough starter is ready to go, and you are ready to "dough"! Of course, we may mingle and enjoy cocktail/mocktail, too!
After Party!
We'll meet again for a cocktail/mocktail-Q&A-happy hour on Friday, February 28, 2025. You'll be able to ask questions, and get ready to dazzle your friends and family with your bodacious sourdough.🥖

Meet Nancy Hand
My communication expertise is based on over 35 years of real-world experience and formal training in contract law, mediation, dispute resolution, negotiation, and coaching as well as a passion for communication, learning, and behavior.
But it’s also rooted in my own culinary heritage as a south Louisiana daughter of a food scientist, a foodie (know thyself!), and sourdough baker.
Bread connects. Every culture in the world has a unique bread heritage they celebrate. Breaking Bread brings people together.
No matter where you are in the world, sharing a meal is an act of community and peace. It's where people communicate, connect, relax, create, and celebrate.
That's what my Breaking Bread events are all about! All of that - and a drool worthy loaf?

A: Not at all! Whether you’re a kitchen newbie or a sourdough superstar, our friendly facilitators will guide you every step of the way. Everyone’s welcome to join the fun and learn something new together!
Q: What if I have dietary restrictions or allergies?
A: No worries! While we focus on traditional sourdough, we’ve had plenty of gluten-free lovebirds who’ve enjoyed baking their own delicious loaves. Just let us know your needs, and we’ll make sure you’re all set to share the love (and bread)!
Q: What kind of follow-up support is provided after the event?
A: After the fun-filled day, you’ll have access to our cozy online community and helpful resources. Stay connected with Nancy and your fellow couples to keep the good vibes—and great bread—rolling!
Q: How long does the virtual event last?
A: The Breaking Bread Experience is a full day of love and learning, running from 10 AM to 7 PM. We’ve packed in plenty of breaks for lunch, laughs, and some well-deserved rest.
Q: Is this just another training gimmick?
A: Absolutely not! Our event is rooted in solid connection theory and real-life relationship tips. Plus, baking sourdough is like a fun, tasty form of meditation. You’ll leave with practical skills and strategies to strengthen your bond and enjoy more harmony at home.
