Your fresh starter! Here are some tips:

  • Use a straight sided vessel

  • Glass or plastic but not metal

  • Use filtered water but not distilled

  • Keep your starter toward the front of your fridge - the door is perfect!

  • It will be happy for up to about 10 days in the fridge

  • I feed mine every Friday, no matter what

 

Your dried starter - the best backup ever!
