Use a straight sided vessel

Glass or plastic but not metal

Use filtered water but not distilled

Keep your starter toward the front of your fridge - the door is perfect!

It will be happy for up to about 10 days in the fridge

Reviving your dried starterĀ

Stored in a cool, dry place, it can last for ages!Ā

That makes the meal complete" Johnny Cash
